This programme is designed to help members develop confidence, structure, and impact in public speaking through a series of guided speeches and evaluations.





Speech 1: Ice Breaker


Goal: Get comfortable speaking in front of the group
Time: 4–6 minutes
Focus: Personal introduction and confidence building



Speech 2: Organising Your Speech

Goal: Learn basic speech structure

Time: 5–7 minutes

Focus: Clear opening, body, and conclusion

Speech 3: Vocal Variety

Goal: Improve voice control

Time: 5–7 minutes

Focus: Pace, volume, pauses, emphasis

Speech 4: Body Language

Goal: Use physical presence effectively

Time: 5–7 minutes

Focus: Eye contact, gestures, posture

Speech 5: Using Stories

Goal: Engage the audience

Time: 6–8 minutes

Focus: Personal or relatable storytelling

Goal: Support a speech visually

Focus: Slides, props, or demonstrations

Speech 10: Final Showcase Speech

Goal: Bring all skills together

Time: 8–10 minutes

Focus: Speaker’s choice, polished delivery

Speech 1: Ice Breaker

Purpose:

To introduce yourself and get comfortable speaking in front of the group.

Steps:

  • Choose 2–3 things about yourself.
  • Decide one main message you want people to remember.
  • Write a short beginning, middle, and ending.
  • Practice speaking for 4–6 minutes.
  • Focus on being natural, not perfect.

Speech 2: Organising Your Speech

Purpose:

Steps:
